Please read these terms carefully. By using LissnUp's anonymous listening services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Important Points
Age requirement:
18+ only
Not therapy:
LissnUp provides anonymous listening, not therapy or medical treatment
Emergency situations:
Contact 911 or crisis hotlines — we're not equipped for emergencies
Your responsibilities:
Treat others respectfully, maintain appropriate boundaries, don't record sessions
Account terms:
Pay per session, no subscription — 100% refund anytime, no reason required
Session rules:
Either you or the listener can end anytime. No recording — ever. Nothing stored, nothing shared.
Eligibility
Who Can Use LissnUp
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Mentally and emotionally capable of participating
- Able to provide informed consent
- Not barred by law from using the services
Service Description
LissnUp provides: Anonymous listening sessions with trained listeners
LissnUp does NOT provide: Professional therapy, medical advice, or crisis intervention
What to Expect
- Trained listeners who provide compassionate support
- Confidential sessions (text or voice)
- No recordings — ever
- Ability to end sessions anytime
- If it didn't help, get a full refund anytime
Payment & Refund Policy
Payment Terms
- You pay per session at the time of booking
- We use a secure payment gateway
- No subscription, no recurring charges, no auto-renewal
- Sessions are non-transferable but 100% refundable anytime — see below
Refund Policy
100% refund, anytime, no reason required. Request a refund on your session page — before or after your session, whenever you decide. The refund is processed automatically through our payment gateway and should appear in your wallet within 5–10 business days. If we didn't help, you shouldn't pay — that's the promise.
Cancellations: You can cancel a booked session anytime — before or after your scheduled time — through your session page. Cancellation and refund are the same action; you receive a 100% refund with no reason required.
Rescheduling:You can reschedule a paid session to a later time through your session page, as long as the original session hasn't started yet.
If something goes wrong:If your listener doesn't show up, or a technical problem prevents your session, request a full refund through your session page. If for any reason the refund doesn't process, email connect@lissnup.com and we'll resolve it.
Important Limitations
Not Professional Mental Health Services
LissnUp is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. We don't diagnose, treat, or provide clinical interventions.
When to Seek Professional Help
- Mental health crisis or emergency
- Suicidal thoughts or self-harm urges
- Persistent mental health concerns
- Need for clinical diagnosis or treatment

Your Responsibilities
During Sessions
- Treat your listener with respect
- Respect the professional distance — don't seek personal or ongoing contact
- Don't record
- Don't ask for medical, legal, or clinical advice
- Don't try to identify or contact your listener outside the platform
Platform Use
- Comply with all applicable laws
- Don't use for unlawful purposes
- Don't impersonate others
- Don't transmit harmful or offensive material
- Don't interfere with platform security
Account Termination
We may terminate your account for:
- Violation of these terms
- Behavior that poses safety risks
- Legal requirements
- If service becomes commercially unviable
Legal Information
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, USA.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes resolved through binding arbitration in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. No class action suits permitted.
Claims Timing
Any claims must be filed within one (1) year of when they arise.
